Mother’s Day is right around the corner [May 10th, which is 13 days away in case you’re not sure what day, month, or year it is right now. I get it]. Moms do so much for us throughout our whole lives, and while they deserve MUCH more than a single day, that’s what the ol’ calendar is giving us. While some states are starting to reopen, some are still “closed” which means lots of people will be celebrating Mother’s Day at home this year! No fancy brunch out, trips to the lawn and garden center, or days at the spa. Since this is the case, we thought there was no better time to come up with a few ideas for a little mama TLC that can be enjoyed from the comfort of home. And if you’re the mom who is reading this, there’s no harm in forwarding this URL onto the family and letting them know what your plans are going to be when the big day comes around 😉

There’s no better time to grow your own herbs than right now! Gather the family, and dig in deep [to the dirt, that is]. I can already smell the basil.

Bring the big screen to your own backyard with a stay-at-home movie night! Setup a projector with either a screen or the side of your house/barn, grab some pillows, blankets, candy [must not forget the candy], and enjoy the show!

Founder and creator of LIY, Erin turned her dream of a hobby blog into a full-time career which she now runs alongside the LIY team! When not in front of her computer screen [with a La Croix or wine in hand] or in front of a mirror taking mirror selfies, you can find Erin spending time on the water, cuddled up with her two pups and husband most likely watching the latest Shark Tank episode, or getting lost in an easy beach read.
